    Can I cancel a reservation if I book with SpecialCarhire?

    Because we deal with over 500 carhire agents there is no one fit all answer. However we do demand general terms which are;

    You can cancel a reservation if there is 7 days or more before collection. After that date there may be a cancellation fee. Under some circumstances you may lose the entire rental fee if you cancel too late. Please ensure you read the contract terms and conditions when you book as each one is different.

    Why are the prices so cheap? Is it too good to be true?

    We get this a lot! Our prices are cheaper than the majors because we are able to negotiate better rates through our network of affiliates and carhire suppliers. We also use many quality carhire companies that dont appear on other sites because they are deemed too small. We think they are just fine as long as they provide quality roadworthy cars.

    We act as an online booking agent which means we are a no frills service.

    If I have a problem who should I contact?

    We are here to try and resolve any issues you may face however you should always contact the car company where you picked up your car first. If the car breaks down they would have supplied a breakdown down recovery number. Read the contract you signed for a phone number.

    If this doesn’t resolve your issue then please contact us but be aware it may take 24 hours for us to respond.

    I Checked A Price Yesterday and Today It’s More Expensive, Why?

    Prices cannot be confirmed until you book a car. Because we offer very generous cancellation terms we recommend you lock in a price as soon as you can. We have seen prices jump significantly during peak periods so don’t miss out.

    Where Else Do You Advertise Your prices?
